The PAUSE is that sacred space between stimulus and reaction. Mindfulness lives in the pause, and it is in this space that we allow ourselves the gift to process what we are thinking and feeling in order to respond with greater intention. "Pause to breathe. Pause before you react. Pause before assuming. Pause before accusing or defending. Pause before judging yourself and others. Pause to seek the truth. Pause to get clear. Life is made up of the sum total of your actions, so take yourself off auto pilot by pausing and waking up in the moment. Begin to notice… What are your default behaviors? Next time you find yourself triggered see if you can pause and resist the urge to react. Meet yourself with kindness and choose your path with greater care and intention. What habitual behavior do you have that is not serving your higher good? Pause to notice and consider a new path. A path that may lead you to healthier possibilities for your life.
